I will also post the poem/story that came from this picture that is the base idea for the manga.
This is also a new style for me. I don't usually color my lines but I have been playing La Pucelle Tactics recently and I thought the coloring style was interesting. Hope you like it!
Oh yeah! I forgot to say that this picture was originally a scratch board I made a year and a half ago. (It was silver.)

Beautiful picture. :O Has a wonderful storybook feel to it and makes me extremely sad. :D The wings are very ghostlike and I really like that. Good work on the hair too.

I think you got all the right tshadows on the skin and the paleness of the skin works with the concept. I think it might just be a case of defining the shadows more on her skin to create the 3D effect. Remembering the curves of the body will affect the way the shadows appear.
