An entry for the Kick Your Own ss Contest.

Ooooooooooooooh... where to even start.... Well, the similarities make a much shorter list than the differences.

Similarities:
Same base idea for characters: an angel guy and a demon girl
They are in a bar.
That bar is called Purgatory
Apparently that angel girl still works there

Differences:
The bar went from hick to gothic in one year flat
Character interaction from WANT to DO NOT WANT
My technique improved: character coloring changed from cell-shaded to soft-cell-shaded and the background changed from pen tool to fully painted
I learned atmospheric perspective, along with normal perspective
My color sense improved along with design sense
Basic anatomy anyone?
Overall BETTER-NESS.
